Initially hired as an editorial assistant, and moved to AV Producer following the success of two major projects–virtual summits and a podcast. Responsible for all audio and video including online events and learning series from pre-production to final delivery.

Published by Halifax Magazine, BBI Magazine, CBC, The Coast, Lion’s Roar magazine. Freelance housing reporter at The Coast for a year. Interviewed Black women in media for a forthcoming podcast series for Women in Film and Television Atlantic. Consulted on Sierra Club Atlantic’s forthcoming podcast for environmental activists. Graduate of the Google News Initiative Startups Bootcamp for independent local publishers, and the Entrepreneurial Journalism Creators program through the Craig Newmark School of Journalism in New York, funded by the Meta Journalism Project.

Digital reporting and investigation, scriptwriting, editing and producing video for a Black media startup. Produced two short documentaries about under-covered issues facing African Nova Scotians in education and employment.
